Engelska vecka 39

English week 39

By Wednesday next week your homework is to see episode ten, write down five new words to each episode and to learn the ten verbs you see in the list below.

Episode 9; Weird genes
Episode 10: Miracles

Denna vecka repeterar vi ing-form (pågående form). Nedan står meningar i ing-form. ing-form används när man pratar om saker man gör just nu. ing-form bildar man med hjälp av hjälpverbet be + ing-form.

Pågående form i presens böjs med am/are/is + ing-form.
ex: I am living in Lund. (§6.12 s 132 i textbook)

Pågående form i preteritum böjs med was/were + ing-form.
ex: I was living in Växjö. (§6.13 s 133 textbook)

Ing-form används även efter prepositioner; t ex Lockie is good at surfing. Egg is interested in listening to Heavy Metal.(§6.16 s 135 textbook).

1 Old Squasher is teaching math.
2 Vicki's dad was selling a car.
Egg is behaving strangely.
Mum and Sarge are buying a new car.
5 Lockie was taking the bus to school.
6 Philip, what are you waiting for?
Lockie and Vicki were smiling.
Philip is good at remembering things.
I'm not bad at driving.

Du kan öva ing-formen på sidorna 154-155 samt sidorna 158-161 i vår workbook.

På denna länk finner du en muntlig övning.
